Xlendi Bay is situated 3 kms from Victoria, on the southern coast of Gozo. This small village is sheltered beneath towering cliffs and a small sandy beach.
Many limestone-block houses line the right hand side of the bay. In recent times, the view of the beach has been partially obstructed by tall buildings. Older one-storey buildings still line the promenade at the edge of the beach and a sliver of sand can still be found between the promenade and the water. Continue reading “Southern coast of Gozo”
